• Hydrofiber® technology –dressing is fully gelling so that there are no crevices for bacteria  to hide. In addition to superior management of exudate, the dressing can hold up to 30 times its weight in fluid, and importantly only wicks vertically, which means the peri-wound skin is less likely to break down.
• Ionic silver- safe and effective at very low levels (1.2%), is released on demand, importantly will NOT be deactivated by cleansers such as saline, is fully compatible with MRI machines, and ‘punches holes in bacteria’ – rendering them useless.
• EDTA and BEC – tiny amounts of this chelating agent and surfactant enable wound cleansing to continue – even when the dressing is in situ. These agents thin the ‘slime’ that makes the  biofilm so resistant to treatment and enables the silver to disable its target – the bacteria.
