Description
Askina Foam is a two layered non-adherent dressing consisting of:

- A thin, transparent and protective polyurethane film, which is water impermeable and bacteria resistant
Advantages
- Excellent fluid handling characteristics
- Cost efficient: no need for frequent dressing changes
- Enhances a moist wound environment
- No adherence to the wound: atraumatic dressing changes
- Visual control of exudate absorption
- Does not leave pressure marks when used under compression therapy
- Askina® Foam Cavity is highly resistant: easy to remove, without leaving particles
Indication
Moderately to heavily exuding wounds:
- Stage I–IV pressure ulcers
- Venous and arterial leg ulcers
- Diabetic foot ulcers
- 1and 2 degree burns
- Traumatic wounds
Contraindication
Askina Foam is contraindicated for:
